As gardeners, we immensely enjoy seeing a plant in our landscape that exceeds our expectations. Do you have one or two of those plants? Would you like to hear about other gardener’s experiences with their favorite plant?
Join the Master Gardener Foundation of Clark County for the next educational meeting where you will hear about the favorite plants of your fellow gardeners. The meeting will be a facilitated panel with participant discussion. We will begin with the panel showing photo(s) of their favorite plant while describing what makes that plant so special to them. If you have a favorite plant and would like to share information about it, this will be a great opportunity to participate and describe it to the group. Participation is optional, but highly encouraged.
If you would like to participate on the panel, choose one of your favorite plants and prepare to briefly tell the group some of the characteristics that make it your favorite. Please include the site description of the plant (shade, sun, dry) and, if you recall, where the plant was obtained.
So that the other participants can see a sample photo of your plant, please send an example photo(s) of the plant (the photos don’t have to be your photos). If you don’t have any of your own photos, just tell us the name of the plant and we will find example photos for you. Please email photos and/or the plant name to Janis McBride at firstname.lastname@example.org by November 7th.
